PEKIN, 562 tons, sailed from London 6/8/1849, and arrived at Port Chalmers on 5/12/1849. Captain George Whitby; Dr S L Müller, surgeon, who afterwards settled at Taranaki.

Johnstone, Isabella (17) [m. Thomas Brookes (ag., town clerk; Milton); d. 24/12/1917.
Reid, William (26) [tea merchant; d. 1/1/1850]; Jessie née Johnston (26) [2nd. m. to William Perkins (ex Mooltan); Mataura]; Jessie (2) [m. Thomas Sutton, ag.; Riverton].
Reid, Anne (20) [sister of William; m. Edward Martin, chainman, NZ Company; Milton; d. 28/1/1903].

Please don't ask us about Port Chalmers passenger arrivals later than 1851. Try Australia and New Zealand Passenger Lists. It's not our area of expertise. Also, please don't ask what individual passengers did after they arrived In New Zealand. All we know about them is in these lists.
