A Company intelligence officer Lt Coleman driving the jeep , with   his batman beside him.  Roger Smith, author of 'Up the Blue', was a 'Don-R' with A Company's signals platoon, and drove one of these American made Willys Jeeps during most of   his service in North Africa. In the background is a standard issue Chevy three-tonner.
