BERKSHIRE, 582 tons, left London on 2/10/1849. Captain John White. She ran aground at Nelson on 1/2/1850. Her forward passengers were carried to Wellington by the Woodstock, and those for Otago, six in number, by the schooner Perserverance, arriving 12/3/1850.
